Consenting to Conduct an Adjudication

Prior to ADACC appointing an Adjudicator, the Adjudicator will receive an email from authority@adacc.ca asking the Adjudicator to consent to adjudicate the dispute. The email will provide the names of the Parties, the location of the dispute, the amount in dispute and the sector to which the construction contract relates. This will provide an opportunity for an Adjudicator to ensure that there are no conflicts of interest or other reasons which would prevent the Adjudicator from adjudicating the matter, including availability.

Adjudicator’s Contact Details

After an Adjudicator consents to adjudicate, ADACC will appoint the Adjudicator and provide the Parties with the Adjudicator’s contact information on the same day as the appointment.
