James Steele

James Steele, P.Eng. brings more than five years of adjudication experience with CanDACC and CanDACC, supported by over two decades in the construction industry. His diverse career spans roles representing Owners, General Contractors, Sewer and Watermain Contractors, Subcontractors, Manufacturers, and Suppliers—providing him with a comprehensive, multi-perspective approach to reviewing, interpreting, and administering construction contracts.
James’s professional experience includes positions as project engineer, project manager, construction estimator, procurement manager, and engineering manager. He has worked across the complete project lifecycle – from design and tendering through construction management and commissioning – on municipal infrastructure projects ranging from hundreds of thousands to $54 million in value.

His hands-on involvement encompasses rough grading, sewer, watermain, and road construction, as well as construction and upgrades to major water and wastewater treatment facilities involving process mechanical systems, electrical infrastructure, instrumentation/SCADA, building services, and site works.
