Adjudicator Profile

Ir. Albert Yeu is a chartered civil engineer with comprehensive experience in design and construction of tunnel, bridge, highway, waterworks and flood prevention schemes in Hong Kong. His project experience includes Yuen Long Barrage Scheme, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Link Road, urban trunk sewerage system, major flood prevention project, strategic new town development, urban drainage improvement projects. He is experienced with procurement strategy on a variety of construction contracts including NEC contracts and other common traditional forms of lump sum, unit price and construction management arrangement. Albert is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (UK), the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK). He is a past chairperson of the Young Members Group of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (East Asia Branch) and a founder of the Hong Kong Institute of Construction Adjudicators. He is currently a senior resident engineer at Binnies and has been appointed as construction arbitrator and adjudicator in Malaysia, Australia and Hong Kong. With his combination of technical and legal background, Mr. Yeu is available to adjudicate all types of construction payment disputes.
